Summary
A pamphlet describing how Perth became internationally known as the ‘City of Light’ in 1962 and how it helped Perth in it’s marketing for the 1962 Commonwealth Games. It also tells how Perth’s Lord Mayor made a strong bid for the Games seeing it as a chance for the city to rise to the challenge of hosting the games.
